Belleville, Illinois Founded 1814. The mission of the Belleville Historical Society is to promote awareness and appreciation of the history, customs, artifacts, architecture and people of the city of Belleville, Illinois.
Illinois State Historic Site National Historic Landmark. This is the official website. The Jarrot Mansion State Historic Site is located near the intersection of Illinois Route 3 and Highway 157 in Cahokia, Illinois, and is just minutes from downtown St. 2007 Jarrot Mansion Project, Inc.
The construction of our elevator is finally complete and we are now handicapped accessible! Those needing the elevator are asked to enter the Museum toward the rear of the building.
